Resolution
Pick 72 DPI for previews, 150 DPI for screens or 300 DPI for print quality.
One ZIP for many pages
Multi-page PDFs give one image per page, downloaded together as a ZIP.
Text, not scans
Text extraction works on PDFs with real text. Scanned pages contain images only.
Which pages are converted?
All pages of the PDF. Each page becomes its own image, numbered in order. When there is more than one page, you can download them together as a ZIP.
Which resolution should I pick?
150 DPI is sharp on screens and keeps files small. Use 300 DPI if you want to print the pages or zoom in on small text. 72 DPI is enough for thumbnails.
Can I get the text out of a scanned PDF?
Not yet. Text extraction reads the text layer that most digital PDFs have. A scanned page is a picture of text, so convert it to JPG or PNG instead.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
Not at the moment. If a PDF asks for a password when you open it, remove the password in your PDF reader first and then convert it.
